When I opened the Nest alarm and saw the expiration date, I was disappointed. These devices are meant to last 10 years but this one expires on July 11 2026. This means it will cease to work in just over One Year! This device was manufactured in July of 2016! Boo, I did not receive good value here. I expected a device with at least 8 years left on it for the money I paid!
