I've switched to XLR anyway. Given its used condition, looks clean like it's been lightly re-conditioned. The pads came pretty clean, no smell. I've replaced them with a set of new pads anyway. Shipping was delayed few days, but not sure where was the delay. Seller did create shipping label quickly, but USPS kept showing not dropped off. no comm from seller though when asked.

Contacted the seller and they refused to send the correct item unless I sent the gray earbud back. They said they'd issue a refund and then I could make another purchase, but that refund doesn't cover the time and effort it takes to go to the post office. Squeaky wheel gets the oil, I get that, but the only consequence I want out this feedback is for the seller to be more careful with future buyers. Do better.
