Synopsis
Inspiration for the major motion picture 6 Day s, starring Jamie Bell as Rusty Firmin Go! Go! Go! tells the action-packed story of the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege. It is a comprehensive and gripping account of an unforgettable six-day drama that shook Britain - and the wider world - to the core. Drawing on original and unseen source material from ex-SAS soldier Rusty Firmin, the police and the British Government, Go! Go! Go! takes us to the heart of the whole operation. The assault planning and training, strategy and tactics are described in detail, and the personal stories of the gunmen revealed - who they were, where they came from, why they did it and Saddam Hussein's direct involvement. Compelling accounts of each day of the siege from the hostages' points of view show how they dealt with captivity individually and collectively. And new material explains the negotiators' tactics and their cool exterior versus their internal turmoil as negotiations reached crisis point., Inspiration for the major motion picture 6 DAYS , starring Jamie Bell as Rusty Firmin GO! Great book, totally as described, arrived quickly. So it was a larger children's paperback that would have ended up being folded into the mailbox had the seller not included a cardboard piece to support the book and prevent the package being folded into the mailbox! Great thinking! Thank you! I have purchased from this seller before and know I can trust their descriptions of book conditions as being very accurate. Highly recommend this seller!

This book was described as being in "Very Good" condition. The book I received was flawless. It looked brand new. I always worry about huge, heavy books getting damaged when shipped in flimsy plastic bags. This one was beautifully packaged with bubble and shrink wrap in a thick, solid cardboard box. And, to top it off, it was delivered within four days of my order. Extraordinary service. I so appreciate booksellers who seem to love and care for books as much as I do.
