It functions and writes perfectly and is destined as a gift. I couldn't be happier with it or the seller who was most gracious in negotiating a fantastic price .   Pen camed with ink on the feed, maybe it was tested before it was sent. But it was advertised as a "New" pen. Also, the packaging was not well protected for the shipping. The outer surface of the package was a bit damaged. Otherwise the pen was in good condition and worked well.
