Here at River Bank Books, we take the time to correctly describe our books, giving a detailed condition report together with a full item description and photos showing every angle of the item.

We never use stock photos, we use our own photography therefore we own the copyright to all our photos, anyone found to be copying our photos will be reported to eBay.

Payment –

We ask our loyal customers for prompt payment, this ensures a quick dispatch and delivery of your item, sales will be cancelled after 5 days if still showing as “No payment Received” unless prior notice is given by the customer of any delays in making payment.

Non payments will result in a Non-Payment Strike being added to your eBay Account.

Non-Payers and “Silly eBayers” will be Blocked from Buying from River Bank Books.

Postage –

We use both Royal Mail and Courier Service to dispatch our items, you have the option at time of checkout to choose 1st class Signed For, 2nd Class Signed For or Special Delivery, For heavier items like Book sets… your books will be dispatched using a courier service and you have the option of choosing next working day delivery if you are in the UK Mainland (excluding the Isles and Highlands of Scotland)

We offer eBay Global Shipping for overseas customers, eBay quote the postage cost for your country and we have no say in what they quote you, please add items to your shopping basket and this should “Combine” postage cost for you.

Returns –

We are happy for you to return an item to us if you are unhappy with it,

In the Unlikely event …For Items that are “Not As Described” Or “Arrived Damaged” we will issue you a returns label at our own cost,

For “Changed Your Mind” Or “Just Didn’t Like it” the customer is responsible for Paying the Returns postage, please note that if you choose to pay extra postage at time of checkout and you return due to change of mind or just didn’t like it… postage cost will not be refunded, just the Item cost & Original Postage Paid by us for items Free Uk Mainland postage will be deducted from the Refund given.

Please return the item using the same quality protected packaging as received to ensure the item is received back to us safely giving us the option to resell to another customer.

Refunds will be processed within 24 hours as soon as we receive the item back at River Bank Books.

Returns must be started within the specified time stated by eBay, returns started after this time will be Cancelled and declined.
