The 2.5-inch dual voice coil of the Rockford Fosgate Punch P3D412 works off of double stacked ferrite magnets, which produce a 1000-watt peak power. Furthermore, the light weight and high strength come from the Kevlar fiber semi-pressed paper cones. The sealed, compressed, high excursion poly-ether-ester of the Rockford Fosgate car subwoofer makes the surround of the woofers tough, durable, and flexible. This 12-inch car subwoofer is designed for optimal heat dissipation to endure rigorous duty cycles and withstand harsh environments.
