CD reissue. Sleepy Hollow is another fun ride from Siegel-Schwall! If you are a fan, then this CD is a must have. This is satisfying music all the way through. The Siegel-Schwall Band was an American electric blues band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 1964 by Corky Siegel (harmonica and piano) and Jim Schwall (guitar). Corky and Jim met each other when both were music students at Roosevelt University. Corky was originally a saxophonist interested in blues and Jim's background was mostly in country music. They combined these two genres producing a lighter sounding blues. The Siegel-Schwall Band recorded five albums for the Wooden Nickel label in the early 1970s.

Siegel Schwall Band's Sleepy Hollow CD is one of my favorites albums. I still have the vinyl from the 1970's, but don't use a turntable anymore so I bought it on CD Jim Schwall is a great guitarist and few harmonica players can outdo Corky Siegel who judging from his harmonica solos, must have been born with 4 lungs.The only bad thing is that during shipment the United States Post Office cracked two out of three of the plastic acrylic CD cases for the 3 Siegel Schwall Band albums I bought here.
