Perfect fit
If you are replacing your Marantz 22xx power switch, this is a perfect fit. Even the replacement knob looks good. You will appreciate how easy it is to replace the switch by not fussing with the old knob.
Even if your stereo didn't have the arc suppression cap/resistor, you should install one, as all inductive loads like the big power transformer cause arcing in switches.
For reference, the included part should be wired across the contacts that power the transformer.
I highly recommend this part.

Does what it's supposed to, nothing more.
1 de 2 usuarios la han encontrado útil This TV features an ASTC digital tuner, so it works with all digital broadcasts. It also will receive digital cable broadcasts, if your cable provider isn't using proprietary frequencies (hello Comcast).
The picture is bright enough for a well-lit room. The sound is sort of "tinny", which should be expected for a small device. It sounds about as good as Macbook speakers. Dialog is crisp, but music is obviously not going to be as good.
I use this at my desk to watch the news, or an occasional sitcom.
Reception is good in urban areas, but I'm guessing this would not be a great device far out in the country.
Technical:
* You can un-screw the antenna and screw in a cable line or a cable to a larger antenna (perfect for RV users). If you use a cable, I recommend a right-angle adapter.
* No Aux input. For many, this will be a deal breaker.
* It can recieve analog broadcasts, for those who live near Canada.
* Headphone jack is included. Headphones sound so much better.
* Only comes with an AC power supply, but the input voltage is 12 volts. Inventive people should have no problem powering this from a 12 volt batter or a car power outlet (formerly known as "lighter socket") with an adapter from Radio Shack-perfect for power outages.
* Picture quality is good enough for casual or portable viewing. Not exactly a Pioneer Kuru plasma.
If your in the market for a tiny TV, for the purpose of watching TV, this may be perfect for you. If you're a video editor looking for a FireWire monitor, don't buy this.
