The item I received had a burr from manufacturing in one of the skinny sections, there was a ring of razor sharp metal. It was simply cut away and removed. The tip has a dent and it is not smooth. I expected some kind of quality control. It's not well made. I bought an identical item a long time ago. While this is the same, it appears that the quality control has gone down. I think I can probably fix things with some sandpaper, but it should be a finished product.
