Yet, she is not an holier than thou preacher/teacher because she has had a hard life & been through hard times. That puts her on a very real level to the reader.
And she is very easy to understand. the sentenace that compelled me to buy this book (rather than re-check it out at the library) was this passage from pg 5 Ms. Meyer says: "Happiness is based on what is happening at the moment, while JOY is based on an internal assurance independant of outward circumstances"
How profound is that?!
to be filled with Joy regardless of circumstances~that is my goal this year & something I want to teach my children.

Kipper is Great!
My daughter is a Kipper fanatic ever since the age of 2! (she is 5 now)
and this movie is just as cute as the rest. Very simple entertaining text. cute characters. consistency in characters. silliness. And all around fun

Best summer read
