Even though I eventual got a refund it's a negative: The sealed for life item, a Fire Angel smoke alarm, was faulty and should never of been listed. When challenged the seller was in denial and said "it needed a new battery "(manufacturers label clearly says this is a no-no) and as much as admitted that the reason they'd accepted my offer was that they knew it was faulty. I took it to Ebay case resolution and even then the seller stalled and dragged their feet before eventually issuing a refund.
