Kester Is The Best Solder Wire For Use In Electronics Assembly And Repair!=-
I've been using Kester for so long, I can't remember what the others were like, except that I once made the decision to use Kester products whenever I worked on electronics. The ratio of the metals in the solder alloy is reliable. The same mix always works the same vs. average solder that can vary quite a bit from lot to lot. It's sort of like drinking Budweiser. It always tastes the same, because it always 'is' the same. Once you get used to it, i.e. how to set up your iron, you know you won't need to change because of variations in alloy composition. It has very high-quality flux in the core. It only requires a tiny bit to make the solder flow. I do a lot of is tinning before I make the joint. Solder will flow into itself. You just need to tin the pieces you're joining. Then, you don't need flux, so you can just put a little ball of solder on the tip of the iron, and barely touch it to the joint, and it will flow into it. That's easier than securing the pieces, heating them up, and applying the solder wire right off the spool. But tinning with an iron is a bit delicate, because you have to hold the iron and the solder, and make the workpiece stay still. If you can put some solder on the iron tip, touch that to the workpiece, and lightly touch the workpiece with the end off the spool, you'll get enough flux to tin the wire. Otherwise, you have to keep the iron and workpiece in contact until they're both hot enough to melt the solder. I like to keep my temperature down. So that takes too long. A pound of Kester will go further than a pound of average solder, because the wire is consistent, and is therefore controllable. If you always work at the same temperature, Kester will always work the same at a given alloy ratio. Kester solder is your friend if you do any amount of soldering. It will make things easier for the beginner as well as the pro. And cleaning up the flux is easy. With Kester, you don't really need to clean the work after you solder it. But I always do anyway. The flux is very cleanable and nonconductive. Kester is a great value for what you get. Skimping on the solder is the way to really make life difficult! 2 things: a good iron, and good solder. You'll never stop thanking yourself! When I was a kid I had an Ungar 75W iron that had almost fallen apart. But my Dad got me good solder. That's probably why I continued on in electronics. So, the solder is more critical than the iron.
3.5 LCD 3.9MM Camera Video Inspection Endoscope Pipe Car Borescope 180° Rotation

Great boroscope for inspecting rifle barrels
If you deal in used firearms, long guns require a boroscope to inspect the inside of the barrel for defects. The 3.5 LCD 3.9MM Camera Video Inspection Endoscope Pipe Car Borescope 180° Rotation device gives enough detail and is small enough to fit in a .22 caliber rifle barrel. I have had some disagreement as to the image quality of this device. I find it more than adequate to spot even hairline cracks. But my Dad doesn't agree. I don't know what to say about that. Part of beauty is simplicity. And this device is very simple to use. I just unpacked it, installed (4) AA alkalines (not included), and started using it! It's not essential that everyone have something like this, but it's a great inspection tool with endless applications. The tip is so small--the smallest I've found--it will fit practically everywhere. The 3.5 LCD 3.9MM Camera Video Inspection Endoscope Pipe Car Borescope 180° Rotation appears well-made and durable. The image quality is superb for such a small camera. The LED lights are more than adequate. You don't need to turn them all the way up. The focusing distance is automatic. It your looking at something five inches away from the tip, it automatically adjusts. But the focusing distance is short on this type of device. I'm pleased with the results I've gotten. I can recommend this product for medium-duty, personal use.

New OEM Samsung Book Cover Black Case For Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

Best plain cover out there, no keyboard.
It's really well made. It holds tight, but you can still get it off if you want to. It's flat black, so it won't show scrapes and smudges. If tilts the tablet up in landccape, so you can do video conferencing. For the price, I think it's the best you can get.
