Roland GAIA SH-01 Analog Modeling SYNTHESIZER - NEW - PERFECT CIRCUIT

Staggeringly unique and powerful
Ive been fortunate to have had all the Roland jupiters except the jupiter 4 and all the junos over the decades and had been hardware free for a good decade before getting a System 8 which i sound to be really good but a bit expensive and still requiring menu diving to get under the hood of it to get the best from it. So.. cue the Gaia.
The Gaia is a synth i avoided for years because i thought it looked like a toy.. what a mistake judging by appearance.
This synth is fantastic.
It doesnt sound digital, it sounds analog. Anyone who doesn't appreciate how great this synth really hasnt had the real analog behemoths in my opinion.
It takes a few weeks to really get under the skin of this wolf in sheeps clothing, and finally when the penny drops you'll never let it leave your rig.
Also by using bomes midi translator you can turn it into a fully adept midi controller, and if your really sensible you can use it to program your vst synths.
I use mine to control the Roland Cloud synths, which essentially means your getting a synth in its own right and a roland system 8 on the cheap.
Cant sing the praises of this board enough, its flexible, it sounds fantastic and i really think roland made a modern classic, most people who own one know all this already.
