I have done that because the item matches the description in the listing. The shoes however were different than a pair I bought from a different in-person retailer although the box was identical. I have no idea if the shoe was in the wrong box or if manufacturing had changed. Purchasing pointe shoes online with no return option is risky, which I knew in advance.
