  The item is as described, brand new in an unsealed package. Have not added it to my alarm system yet so I can't comment on how well it works. I do want to say that the seller, Saftymind, went above and beyond when there was a shipping issue from USPS. Replied quickly to messages I sent. Would highly recommend buying from them.
