    This item was advertised as NEW which is this according to EBay: "A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging (where packaging is applicable)." However, my item was in a severely damaged box that was crushed and showed signs of water damage. The box also had been OPENED and taped up several times. Definitely not as described - I would never have purchased it if I had known ahead of time that it was opened.

The item you purchased was new, and we opened the box only to reinforce the packaging to ensure it would arrive safely. However, it sounds like something went wrong during shipping, leading to the damage you described. This is certainly not what we intended.
