Quiénes somos

My name is Bernadette Thomas, trading as Needlewitch (ABN 43 950 367 267) - I opened the antiques side of my business in 1999. I am a GST registered business and can provide a tax invoice on request. I was a licensed antiques dealer and initially traded at antiques fairs and markets but joined Canberra Antiques Centre in Fyshwick, ACT in 2004. When the owner retired and closed his business in 2023, I moved everything to Adelaide and opened my eBay store in 2024.
I am also a qualified custom dressmaker and dressmaking teacher and work from home in Eastern Adelaide.
All the sewing patterns I sell are either in factory folds or have been physically checked for completeness. I check all stock carefully and describe it to the best of my abilities - any flaws will be identified in the auction description. If an item arrives and is not as described please contact me asap to discuss your options - my aim is to have a pleased customer.

    The item is exactly as described, packaged very well and arrived on time. Seller even send a packing slip, explaining why shipping charge was high. These items tend to be over priced, but seller was very reasonable in price. Seller is a great communicator! Showed pictures of details of item, not leaving any surprise. I'm very happy in all with my purchase. I would buy from this seller again;)

    Posted promptly and wonderfully packed. The wrong petticoat was sent and when I brought this to the attention of the seller she most apologetic. She posted me the correct petticoat and very kindly said I could keep the one that was sent by mistake as a way of saying sorry. Thank you Bernadette. A wonderful eBay seller.

    I was overjoyed today when the mail arrived and I received this book! It was very well packed and safely made the journey from Australia to Ohio. At nearly a century old, it’s in remarkably great condition, exactly as pictured in the listing. I’d been looking for a specific issue of GE Review from the 1928 year and was thrilled to find the entire year in a hardbound volume. These periodicals are filled with engineering knowledge, some of which is still very much relevant today. Thank you!
