    Hello, Glad you are happy with the transaction and it arrived quickly. Regarding pricey shipping. I weigh the item in the package and enter the weight and dimensions in the shipping section. eBay suggest rounding up the weight (i.e. 1 lb.8oz. round up to 2 lbs.), but I do not. UPS rounds it up automatically. I don't set the shipping price, the shipping services (USPS, UPS, Fed Ex) does that; across country as I am in NC and you are in CA the shipping is going to cost more.
