With its 30 points of articulation, expert sculpting, and high level of detail, the Hasbro Marvel Legends 6-inch action figure Onslaught Series 13 Pyro comes with the ability to assume many of Pyro's own famous poses. This Marvel Legends toy will give you hours of fun as its wide range of movement and excellent detail allows you to enjoy all kinds of adventure play. The enriched detail gives Pyro a realistic appearance that is true to the original design featured in the Marvel comics. If you are a collector, you will enjoy the 32-page Marvel comic book and wall-mountable, diorama-style base that accompany this villain. This Legends figure is also accompanied by a VS trading card. This toy is part of the 13th wave of Toy Biz Marvel Legends action figures. Each model in the series portrays a villain like Pyro, Loki, or the Green Goblin. Every toy contains a Build-A-Figure piece. Together, these pieces come together to build a larger figure of the original version of Onslaught. The figure comes with the lower torso and back shell for the Onslaught Build-A-Figure. Sunfire isn't the bad tempered fire-based mutant when it comes to X-Men characters; Pyro is an Australian mutant frequently affiliated with Magneto's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. From his introduction in X-Men number 141, he used his ability to manipulate even the smallest flame into any form he desired to battle the Marvel superheroes. The comic included with this Hasbro Marvel Legends figure is Daredevil number 355 where Pyro teams with Mr. Hyde against Matt Murdock and friends. Pyro has moved between comic book series and locations throughout the Marvel universe over time. The major confrontation in the included comic takes place in a burning warehouse where the characters' fire powers lead to an exciting battle. Like all of the Marvel Legends series from ToyBiz, the figure features a careful sculpt and paint job, highlighting Pyro's yellow, brown, orange, and red appearance. The head, in particular, shows off the figure's snarling arrogance. This 13th series of toys is known for detailed sculpting, and the Pyro figure is an excellent example of this attention to detail. His hair flows upwards, and he is wearing his distinctive large goggles and massive collar. He comes armed with his flame-throwing backpack and hoses that are permanently affixed to his body. His feel is microtextured for realism while on display or when playing with him. This figure is originally packaged in a sturdy plastic clamshell that keeps your toy, card, and comic in good shape.
