This train set by MTH is a wonderful addition to any collection. The set includes a Burlington Pioneer Zephyr diesel locomotive, 2 passenger cars and an observation car. The train is transformer controlled (not included) with a forward-neutral-reverse control system, and other features such as light and sound functions. The train set was manufactured in the year 1999 and is built to a scale of 1:48. The set is made of plastic and diecast materials, and is ready to go out of the box. This train set has recently been tested and all of the Proto-Sound, light and movement functions are operational. The set comes in its original packaging with the operating manual and includes several bags of spare parts.
