From the comics series to the television series straight into your hands. This Croc Master 50th anniversary action figure is part of the legendary G.I. Joe series. This particular surly character is in cahoots with G.I. Joe’s enemy, Cobra. As his back story explains, Croc Master is a former alligator wrestler and trainer who came to work for Cobra Commander, and at one point, even Serpentor, as Cobra Island security, populating Cobra Island with crocodiles that are trained to eat G.I. Joes. The G.I. Joe series of toys have had a long, successful history that dates back to 1964. The number of enthusiasts soared during the 1980s. It was during this peak popularity that G.I. Joe introduced its terrorist nemesis, Cobra. Croc Master was released as an action figure on Cobra’s team in G.I. Joe, A Real American Hero series in 1987. A second version of the toy appeared in 2004. Later, Croc Master was re-released in a series of action figures in the 25th anniversary line. This version of Croc Master stands at 3.75 inches tall, which is a decidedly more petite version of the original mannequin from the 1960s. This anniversary edition Croc Master has upgraded from green to red croco-styled tank, boots and gun holster. All of this is stylishly coordinated with his black pants. In addition, he comes equipped to support the renegades with his famous crocodile (the figurine actually looks more like an alligator), a gun, a crocodile leash (to keep his vicious reptile in check), and a black mask with breather hose. All of these little accessories can add to the fun of playing or even just looking of these toys. Action figures like Cro Master can make it easier for older children and those young at heart to imagine that they are actually in the swampy canals of Cobra Island, in the thick of the G.I. Joe/Cobra battle, in hot pursuit of the enemy. For those people who prefer to display their collectibles, a stand is provided as well. This G.I.
