Paul Duffield describes himself as a 'traditional angler'. Having been born in the second half of the 20th century and fished for over 40 years, he is attempting to rediscover and recapture the magic and excitement that he experienced when he first began fishing at 10 years old. A vintage fishing tackle enthusiast and restorer, Paul fishes with cane rods, centrepin reels and quill floats and prefers to spend a few hours on a wild stream to modern stocked stillwaters.
