Depth gauge works by attaching easy on / easy off via thumb screw unto the measuring bar. Make sure the gauge is flush with the end of the bar. This extends the base width by 2.93" Made from precision ground and harden stainless steel Measures 2.93" wide base X 0.98" high X 0.25" thick. This will fit calipers measuring bars between 0.62" (5/8") and 0.53.(1/2") wide. This listing qualifies for Ebay's bucks.
