Appears well built and will last - resulting ride quality is superb
O’reddy touts these as “drop in”, and indeed they are. Bolt holes line up well and fitment is great. The installation instructions are very general, so ensure you have access to the factory service manual, or have done sufficient research online.
The install notes do state that a small bit of rotation may be required during install to align the top hat with the lower suspension. With the top portion loosely attached, it was easy to rotate the strut assembly 15-20 degrees to align with the suspension knuckle.
The only difficulty encountered was with the bracket which supports the brake line from interfering with the suspension and wheels. Some substantial bending of the bracket was needed to ensure the hose line could be attached, and some widening of the bracket hole was done to ensure a snug and lasting fit. This was done on an ‘03 Murano.
Good product so far - no noises whatsoever and it rides great!

Outstanding one-box surround solution - Convenient!
I purchased this for my parents since it seemed easy to use AND gave surround sound capability in a single box. I first auditioned it at home, and it provided a VERY convincing sense of space from the LOTR DVD's I threw at it. I didn't bother hooking up a sub, so the bass was a bit lacking but acceptable - the YSP-1100's dynamics were superb, almost making one forget about the lower few octaves. Sonically, the sound effects were outstanding. Vocals were a bit sibilant, but easily discernible and prominent. I've got a high end surround system at home, and now I'll be looking at these systems (namely Yamaha and Polk [auditioned in-store]) for a bedroom set-up. Best of all, it's one-touch setup automatically with the included microphone was a joy to use! Set it up, press a button, leave the room, and return to almost perfectly calibrated surround sound. Not a must-buy if you need HDMI, however - you'll need the newer models for those.
