Wichita Band Instrument Company and E.M. Shorts Guitar Shop
Fine band, orchestral and fretted instruments.

Wichita Band Instrument Company is a small musical instrument emporium located in the center of the USA. The owners are Kansas natives Gary L. Ray and his two sons.
Founded by a woodwind repair technician in 1953, we soon will commence our seventy-first year in business.
We’re not a “back bedroom” operation but can report that we are the owners of a proper “brick and mortar” workshop.
We enjoy a sterling reputation for ethical business transactions and confirm to our friends and clients the simple fact that we expect to be in business forever.

ALL new and all used instruments sold by Wichita Band Instrument Company come with our 24 month service warranty, in addition to any factory guarantees. In the event that a customer requires service under factory guarantees or Wichita Band’s service warranty, the item must be returned to us and not directly to the manufacturer.

    The seller was very responsive and answered all of my questions prior to purchase. Once I purchased I was kept informed of shipping and tracking and received the very quickly. The trumpet is in perfect condition as described. This is a great value for a practically new instrument.

    It was my first time buying something off of EBay. I was very scared because I didn’t know how eBay worked. The instrument did arrive, it says “used” but to me it looks new. The case and the instrument are both exactly like the pictures and I have no other problems with the instrument. Great company. If i ever want to buy another instrument. My first option is Wichita Company. Also they are carrying and great with details since they did communicate with me and gave me a discount off of mouthpiec
