    Got stung for an additional £116 import tax, this was not in the description and I would not have purchased had I known. Contacted seller. "This item is shipped out from Riga, Latvia, as stated in the shipping section of the listing. Your order details show that VAT wasn't charged by eBay and has to be paid during the import. You can avoid the rest of the fees if you know how to clear the items from customs by yourself, Sincerely, Alex" I still can't find where it stated this in the advert

    The problem is that this sellers EBay page is misleading. I bought these from this UK seller with a UK VAT number and the price was quoted as delivered at a price of £189.00. Prior to delivery I was contacted by UPS to be told that another £78.75 was required to cover VAT & broker fees. HOW? from a UK company on a delivered price? Well, their warehouse is in the Baltics and they claim the full delivered price that I paid was excl VAT, pay it or UPS charge to send it back .WHAT A CON - AVOID
