This was very clearly a new, in box, OEM replacement with Sony embossment. Unfortunately, it was not the part I need to get my set running again. I cannot hold that against the seller. This was an A+ part, exactly as described. Took a while to arrive, but checking the tracking, the seller got it into USPS's hands very quick and it was the postal services fault for the delay. Great seller, honest and proactive. Would recommend.

The transistor was mailed in an envelope with no packing and the PO did their best to destroy it but it still survived. The USPS sorting equipment made the item punch a hole through the back of the envelope but didn't get lost in the mail. Still, seller might consider using a padded envelope in the future.
