Toas-Tite® is back, ready to serve-up some simple goodness.
As kids, we grew up savoring our mom’s famous grilled cheese, made lovingly in our Toas-Tite® Sandwich Maker. Serving up the first “hot pocket” sandwich, the Toas-Tite® was first introduced in 1949, but vanished from the market in 1953. A few years ago, we came up with the idea to resume manufacturing the Toas-Tite®, right down to the original packaging and recipe cards; and after a 70+ year hiatus, we’re excited to say the Toas-Tite® is back and 100% Made in America!
The Toas-Tite® uses two slices of bread and your choice of fillings. (You can also replace the bread with puff pastry, soft flour tortillas or round waffles.) In just three minutes, you’re enjoying a warm, toasted, and tasty sealed-in sandwich. Toas-Tite® is available in 16” and 22” lengths and can be used on a gas, electric and glass top stove, fire pit, barbecue or fireplace, so its perfect to use both indoors and outdoors.
