The product was packed and sealed, so it WAS new before shipping. So... it was as described when purchased. But now I have a smashed box. Oh well... thankfully the model itself inside the SMASHED BOX was not damaged. Thus... the neutral feedback. Please package better than this. Even if I didn't care about the box, the box itself is thin cardboard that is not suitable for shipping on it's own.
