Welcome to Our Special Store!!!

Special Thrifts was created as a way for my beautiful daughter, Lily, to be a contributing member of society. Most jobs that work well for people with Down syndrome were not a good fit for Lily. Lily does best working in small chunks of time. Selling on Ebay has been a great fit...She helps with sorting, packing, selecting, shipping, and modeling items we sell in our store. She gets very excited every time we sell something.

My name is Janet, and I manage our store and do whatever Lily can't/won't do. LOL I taught for many years at both public schools as well as at universities. Teaching at-risk students is truly my passion. I now write curriculum for people with special needs www.austinlily.com. I also love thrifting and finding treasures for myself and this store.     Great seller, Great packaging, very fast shipping would have been a great value But FedEx broke the glass the packaging was great but it looks like someone stepped on it and then tossed it around no fault of the seller, this is the most caring seller I have had, the picture would have been as described if not broken.
