  Unit was advertised as new but in the interest of full disclosure I believe it should have been ad'ed as an "open box" item as the tape was cut at the end flaps and the top of box was poorly taped closed over old tape, that being stated the printer inside is clearly never used and the price was right so I have no complaints.
