¡La decoración de la era moderna de mediados de siglo y las cosas aún útiles de esa época son mi nicho favorito! He sido un recolector y un coleccionista desde la edad de 12 años, aprendiendo del abuelo más impresionante que fue un recolector. Gramps fue un mecánico de tanques de la Primera Guerra Mundial y un sobreviviente de la Gran Depresión. Nunca dejó pasar artículos desechados o "cansados" y me enseñó los trucos del oficio para limpiarlos, arreglarlos y revenderlos. Descubrimos que tenía su gran ojo para un hallazgo y para ver el potencial en artículos más antiguos que otros consideraban "basura". Una vez un recolector, siempre un recolector! Amueblé 4 casas a lo largo de mi carrera de caza con mis hallazgos. Ahora me estoy instalando en mi edad y reduciendo el tamaño de mis colecciones, pero todavía elijo activamente agregar más hallazgos divertidos a la mezcla. Me atraen los artículos de la era de mediados de siglo, pero si es viejo, único, todavía le queda vida, o simplemente es demasiado bueno para tirarlo, hay una buena posibilidad de que llegue a mi tienda.
