  model was wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap then placed in the base of the box, and the whole lot wrapped in bubble wrap. This was then padded with scrunched up paper in the postage box. the model was in excellent condition, possibly better than described. Id be happy to purchase from this seller again and would recommend to others on my experience.
