A blatant lie, that it was in a distribution centre awaiting clearance, and that EMS would provide tracking which isn't their job,.I got the tracking information from Aus Post, when it arrived in Aus, seller took six days, bought on the 18th just after midnight, seller posted it late on the 24th!. That said the lens was in better condition than described plus at a very fair price, so at the end of the day I'm more than satisfied.

I chased the seller 10 days after the sale because of no progress and was told the goods have been sent but they forgot to update the tracking. They eventually gave me a Japan post tracking number - but that didn't work. Eventually I got a FedEx number - but that didn't work. Then I got yet another FedEx number and that worked and the goods were delivered. Yay! The communications were excellent throughout.
