  This item was used but I was delighted to find that it was ‘as new’ - a great value since it was well below twice retail price for new. The packaging was top notch: a new eBay box filled with fresh bubble pack and my item nestled comfortably in the middle, the sharp tip covered to keep from popping the bubbles. It was shipped quickly but had to travel a long distance and so took a reasonable amount of time, arriving on the day first predicted. The item was better than described, as noted above.
