Jay se interesó por primera vez en el Corvette mientras ayudaba a su vecino a restaurar un Vette del 54 en el garaje de su padre. El primer Vette de Jay fue un '75 que compró en 1980. Desde entonces ha poseído más de 100 Vettes diferentes. Actualmente tiene un inventario de varios miles de piezas C1 y C2 y posee un '22 C8 Coupé y un '22 F8 Tributo Ferrari.
