2008 Mark Blundell started Aquafed, primarily as a window cleaning, pressure washing and gutter cleaning company. Until he saw a gutter vacuum he was carrying out gutter clearing the traditional way from a ladder. Looking for a safer alternative, he researched the various gutter cleaning systems on the market with the intention to purchase. Extensively field testing Mark created his own system and once that testing was complete, he firmly believed that he had come up with an efficient system that would not only rival others but would strongly hold its place in the market for the good of the industry as a whole. This was the beginning of Gutter Vacuum Systems Ltd.
