Quiénes somos
Comencé mi propio negocio en 1976 después de 3 años trabajando para John Lewis Partnership. Abrí una pequeña tienda en North Berwick, East Lothian, Escocia y comercié como 'Jim and Jenny' haciendo y encajando cortinas y persianas a medida.
Después de 4 años compré una tienda en la cercana Gullane y comercié desde allí hasta 2002.
En 1999 Internet estaba empezando a florecer y me puse en contacto con fabricantes de bordados en China y comencé una operación al por mayor de manteles, corredores y tapetes que suministran tiendas en todo el Reino Unido.
En 2002, el negocio de fabricación de cortinas fue vendido a Hazel Melville, quien continúa comercializando allí hoy como 'Hazel Rebecca'.
Me mudé de vuelta a mi ciudad natal de Hawick en las fronteras escocesas, donde el negocio mayorista continuó expandiéndose. Después de la crisis financiera de 2008 había menos tiendas especializadas en lino para vender y la venta en línea parecía el camino obvio a seguir.
Hoy vendo casi en su totalidad en línea en Amazon, Etsy y eBay con pocos clientes mayoristas restantes.
