The book was wrapped in layers of brown paper, placed in a plastic sleeve, wrapped in generous layers of bubble wrap & placed in a sturdy box! Fort Knox in a Box! This is an old, retired library book. So, it's a bit beat up, but intact. I love it! I imagine the many hands that have turned its pages, eyes that read, brains it sparked.
