The seller has replied to my question about the delivery of this item, apparently the Royal Mail dropped it off at the local shop that handles Royal mail deliveries, but the mail had neglected to inform me. Thankfully the vendor was able to reply very quickly with the requested information. The goods where delivered in good condition, and where well packed.

The seller seems to have forgotten that they are a supplier of spare parts for restaurant equipment—which means every hour of delay on their part could result in a business being unable to operate. They should not use slow and untrackable shipping methods. Quick response and prompt delivery are essential to the success of both me as a service technician and them as a supplier.
