Unit was poorly packaged, and I suspect base was broken in transit. I contact the seller and that offer to take the unit back or send me a new base. I tested the unit and it works fine, and the unit had been cleaned exceptionally well. I choose to keep the unit, seller promptly sent a new base. Seller was easy to work with., and I would due business with them.
