Besides this damage, this item is in like-new condition as depicted in listing. A pity, and extremely disappointing that a vintage item in such good condition was damaged on its last journey because of the lack of care taken in packaging it, and given the high $28 USPS shipping cost. This was an international transaction so the item is sent to eBay's shipping hub where they will open and repack the item. This could be where the problem occurred.
