Our story - A family tradition:
Our story began in the 1970s when our grandparent's neighbor convinced them to have a yard sale. They were immediately hooked on meeting new people, finding and repairing discarded items, and traveling the eastern seaboard to find their next treasure. Their most enjoyable mission was completing 5 full sets of depression glass for their family. These sets have since been passed down along with their love of treasure hunting.
For 4 generations (raising our kids to love it too) our family has loved flea markets and thrifting. We're excited to take it from where it started in our grandparent's garage and bring it to you through our eBay store. We research, inspect, and provide as accurate a description as possible to ensure your satisfaction.
What does Carpo mean? - To us Carpo has 2 meanings: 1. It is the combination of the initials of 5 great-grandchildren of that first generation of thrifters. 2. It means to pick or pluck

I didn't have the money to spare then, so now at 83 and she at 47, I was glad to get another chance to buy it.
