Desde 2004 Candida Books and Collectibles se ha especializado en libros y coleccionables Ladybird. Como coleccionista, sé lo importantes que son las descripciones y fotografías claras y precisas para mis clientes. Además, proteger cada libro con una funda extraíble de plástico gratuita parte de mi servicio al cliente durante más de 13 años.
Cuando era niño crecí leyendo Ladybird Books, desde el formato hasta el contenido, sus libros están diseñados para ayudar a los lectores jóvenes e inspirar el aprendizaje.
Antes de Ladybird Books, Henry Wills en 1867 abrió una librería en Loughborough y expandió su negocio a la impresión seis años después. En 1904, William Hepworth se convirtió en socio y la empresa se convirtió en Wills & Hepworth, aunque Wills se retiró poco después. Comenzaron a publicar Ladybird Books en 1914 que eran de un formato más grande, un ejemplo es "The Fairies Book" en mi logotipo que es de la serie Ladybird. Durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial se imprimió el formato icónico con el que los lectores están familiarizados hoy en día: un libro de 56 páginas a todo color.

    I wish all ebay transactions were this smooth, easy and satisfying. The seller made contact as soon as my purchase was made and continued to keep me informed of the parcels progress. The delivery was very quick and the parcel was safe and secure with the book wrapped up in the parcel neater than any item I have ever received via ebay. The book is in better condition than I expected and the price was very reasonable. I recommend this seller to anyone and everyone.

    This is beautiful and a fine, rare piece for my collection. I didn't have a Welsh flagon. It's in super shape and as described, The seller was very helpful and packed this very carefully as I had one shipped in the states that arrived broken. Seller was in touch with me throughout process and this arrived in perfect shape in good time from overseas.

    Item is just as described and arrived well packaged.
