It was wrapped in packing material. immersed in styrofoam peanuts, and shipped in a good sized box. I kept it in my living room for a few weeks before installing it, and people kept complimenting me on my “antique” squirrel statue. I fastened it to my roof ridge tile using terra cotta tinted mortar, and my neighbors say it looks as if it’s always been there.
