  Exemplary seller with impeccable manners. I had rudely requested a refund when learning California doesn't permit large water filters to be delivered to CA-registered addresses (and how that's possible proves we live in Cuba) and he promptly refunded in full; however, it's no fault of this seller. His communication and especially patience skills are enviable for which I'm grateful. (Rexport)

  Item not received, no refund, and seller is unresponsive since March 28 when we agreed that he would resend and I would pay for the re-shipping of the item after I had mistakenly used the wrong shipping address. Unfortunately having to involve eBay to assist resolving. Really bummed because we need the item for well water purification.

  Seller took my payment and then kept moving the delivery date forward. This went on for weeks. I left a message on his phone and he emailed saying he can't ship this item to California. In the meantime prices have gone up and I am furious. If he was able to take the time to move the delivery date forward he was able to tell a paid customer he can't ship to California. Is he using my cash to buy other items to sell? Very shady seller

  Hey Terri I reached out when this happened but I wanted to reply here as there are plenty of CA buyers in the same boat. Regarding the delivery estimate, eBay's algorithm controls that. The main problem is the CA regulation blocking the sale of Berkey systems considered 'at home' filters. That covers the Big and anything larger. The Travel and the Berkey light are the only two which escape this bureaucratic limitation. It's a pain I know, if you want a Travel I will gladly give you a discount.
