But the seller was great to work with and offered the option of returning the clock or receiving a discount. After considering the time/effort plus the cost of the return-shipment, I chose to take the discount. Since I had never used the item I was definitely sorry that the sound quality did not work in terms of your husband and his hearing impairment. I hope you find a good or better solution for him so he can have a good quality of life. I would check your state government for services for the hearing impaired. Many times, they have equipment for free for those with hearing difficulties. Like I said, my mother got a device free to help her to hear there.
