Fundada en 1985, Atlantis Gems Inc., un importante fabricante de joyas, operaba una tienda minorista en el principal distrito comercial (16th Street Mall) del centro de Denver, Colorado. La compañía se especializa en joyas personalizadas de oro y plata, piedras preciosas de colores sin montar (principalmente esmeralda y zafiro Yogo), diamantes, relojes de pulsera y bolsillo antiguos, coleccionables históricos y especímenes y fósiles minerales exóticos. Atlantis también operaba dos minas de esmeraldas y una planta de corte de gemas en el interior de Brasil. Desde entonces, la compañía ha cerrado su tienda minorista y ahora vende exclusivamente en eBay. Con gastos generales sustancialmente más bajos, la empresa ofrece a los clientes productos excepcionales con ahorros sustanciales.
