I often think about the creative talent of the craftsmen involved in designing & fabricating the gorgeous lamps of the early 20th century & it saddens me to know that today it is indeed a lost art.   Hanging hall lamp shade was delivered exactly as promised AND they even texted me to make sure with the cold weather that I didn't open the package and grab the cold shade with warm hands and shatter it.
