When I opened the box there were dozens of glass shards from a shattered clock dome. And the ball-pendulum was broken off and there were numerous brass pieces. Rather than admitting this was irreparable, the seller offered a $20 refund for the broken dome. Or, I could return the unsalvageable clock if I paid shipping!
